Irinotecan is a derivative of natural camptothecin that has been chemically modified. It is a new type of anti-cancer drug with accurate efficacy and less toxic and side effects. It is mainly used to treat lung cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer and other cancers.

Biological activity:

Irinotecan (CPT-11) prevents DNA unwinding by inhibiting Topoisomerase1.
